There are several types of transducers available in the market, each tailored to specific applications. Among them, ICTD temperature probes stand out as reliable temperature sensors designed for seamless integration with Opto 22 ICTD analog input modules—including groov EPIC, SNAP, G4, and Standard (G1) modules.
Specifically, the ICTD-P3 immersion probe features a waterproof stainless-steel body (stainless-steel portion only), making it ideal for use in liquid environments such as thermowells within piping systems. Furthermore, this versatile probe also supports air temperature measurement, offering flexibility across different use cases.
Notably, the stainless-steel shell is electrically isolated from the temperature-sensing element, ensuring accurate and safe operation. As a result, the ICTD temperature probe is well-suited for air temperature monitoring in a range of applications, including energy management, freezer control, and other similar scenarios.
ICTD-P3
The ICTD-P3 is an immersion ICTD temperature probe, 1/4 inch in diameter. It is designed for use in liquid applications, for example thermowells within pipes. It can also be used to measure air temperature. The stainless-steel shell on this probe is isolated from the temperature element.
