The groov EPIC, GRV-EPIC-PR1, is a rack mount edge programmable automation controller, which can be mounted on a DIN rail mount rack system.

There are four types of IO mounting racks for the GRV-EPIC-PR1, which provide the ability to mount IO modules for connection to real world input/output devices such as temperature sensors, motors, pumps, as well as serial devices using RS232 or RS485.

A chassis is always required mounting the GRV-EPIC-PR1 processor.

• GRV-EPIC-CHS0 – Chassis for when just the GRV-EPIC-PR1 is used without the need for IO modules.
• GRV-EPIC-CHS4 – A chassis for mounting a mixture of analogue, digital and serial multi-channel IO modules, up to a maximum of 4-modules.
• GRV-EPIC-CHS8 – A chassis for mounting a mixture of analogue, digital and serial multi-channel IO modules, up to a maximum of 8-modules.
• GRV-EPIC-CHS16 – A chassis for mounting a mixture of analogue, digital and serial multi-channel IO modules, up to a maximum of 16-modules.
