Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description

Deliver Cutting-Edge Automation Solutions – System Devices UK are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team.

Situated in Runcorn, System Devices UK are at the forefront of advanced automation solutions, continuously adapting to the latest technological advancements and providing industry-leading solutions to meet the evolving needs of modern manufacturing.

We are looking for an individual who has experience of Industrial sales and/or technical support within the process/automation industry. However, we are open to candidates with a solid background in any technical sales field.

A candidate should have an ability to develop networking skills and contacts, identify key new sales opportunities and devise a strategy to efficiently exploit them. Additionally, provide sales support by telephone and email and respond to enquiries, as well as competently provide customer quotations and proposals with an organised approach to following up on quotations and generating new business.

You will also need to have strong communication skills and be able to develop and maintain close relationships with our customers, and be willing to work with our digital marketing team to help design and implement marketing campaigns that drive growth.

Do you have experience using any industry standard CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) database? Are you confident in reporting to the Board of Directors on sales forecasts and targets? Are you passionate, self-motivated and have an eye for detail?

Duties Include:

· You will be responsible for selling a variety of products such as PAC Controllers, Industrial Robots, Flexible Parts Feeders and IIOT4 type devices.

· You will discuss and advise on the range of products and services available from the company and offer written proposals which highlight the benefits that are specific to the customer.

· This role involves technical and commercial review of enquiries, quotations, and managing the process through to the placement of an order.

· Post order, you will be raising purchase orders with suppliers to support sales order requirements and supporting the customer up to and beyond delivery of their order.

· The role will be office based with occasional customer visits when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
