About Digital SNAP I/O Modules

Opto 22 SNAP I/O 4-channel digital input modules are part of the SNAP PAC System. Optical isolation on these modules provides 4,000 volts of transient (4000 V for 1 ms) protection for sensitive control electronics from industrial field signals. Digital input modules can sense either AC or DC signals.

All SNAP 4-channel digital modules have removable top-mounted connectors to provide easy access for field wiring, and all operate on 5 VDC control logic. Each digital module features integral channel-specific LEDs for convenient troubleshooting and maintenance. Each module is factory tested twice and is UL and CE approved.

AC Output SNAP Digital I/O Modules

SNAP-OAC5

The SNAP-OAC5 provides four channels of 12-250 VAC digital output, each switching a separate AC load. AC outputs use zero voltage turn on and zero current turn off for transient-free switching. The module has removable top-mounted connectors to provide easy access to field wiring and features channel-specific LEDs for troubleshooting.

SNAP-OAC5MA

SNAP-IDC5-HT

The SNAP-IDC5-HT provides four channels of leakage-tolerant 15-32 VDC digital input. This module is designed for use with sensors that have a high leakage current. Removable top-mounted connectors on the module give easy access to field wiring, and channel-specific LEDs help in troubleshooting.

SNAP-ODC-32-SNK

The SNAP-ODC-32-SNK digital output module (load sinking) provides 32 digital output channels in one compact SNAP module. This module is ideal for OEMs and others with applications with high point counts, or for those requiring a large number of digital output channels on one SNAP I/O rack. The high-density configuration reduces per-point costs of digital I/O systems by providing up to eight times as many I/O channels in the same space.
